The Cast

The entire cast of this flick has given their best and yes, Nayanthara has given her 100% for the role she has played. The dialogues and her expressions are solid and strike the right chord. Kudos to the director for choosing Lady Superstar to do this role as she was able to carry the role with ease and was also able to spread the message to the wider section of the crowd.

Sunu Lakshmi performs well as a mother, emotions are well delivered and created a greater impact. Ramachandran Durairaj as an emotional father scores well. The child who played the role of five-year-old Danshika emotes well and makes us weep at few places. Kaaka Muttai Ramesh plays a key role and does his part well.

The Team

Technically this film is brilliant. Thanks to the director Gopi Nainar for not mixing up masala just for the sake of adding it to grab the audience attention. The script in the meantime doesn't sound preachy or go overboard. Ghibran's background music elevates the scenes and it is the major plus in this movie.

Cinematography by Om Prakash needs a special mention as it's a visual treat and a major highlight in this film as the tone sets well.

The storyline is what you need to look for as it delivers a strong message to the masses but it gives a documentary feel.

Editing by Ruben is crisp and neat and he was able to keep up the pace of the movie throughout.

Bottom line - Thought provoking and a must watch for this week.
