This movie needs a big applause for going in depth to cover up the legendary actresses life and making it as one of the finest biopic that has ever been made. Hats-off to the director Nag Ashwin for concentrating on all aspects to make it the best.

Keerthy Suresh gets a meaty role to perform. The actress as Savithri plays it well and makes a top notch performance. This could be said as one her career best movie. Keerthy has expressed well and they are top class as all her expression fits in well with the scenes. The climax scenes definitely needs a special mention.
Dulquer Salman is the right choice to be cast to play Gemini Ganesan's role. He fits well in the shoes and makes the role perfect. The love story between Savithri and Gemini Ganesan has been shown in an interesting manner.
Samantha as the journalist does her role with utmost perfection. Her emotes during the climax scene deserves a special applause. Her scenes with Vijay Devarakonda goes well and their chemistry was amazing.
Rajendra Prasad gets a good role and he brings in depth to the film.

Technically this film has done wonders. It takes really a huge involvement and dedication to recreate an era of the legendary actress and the team has succeed in doing the same. The costumes in which Savitri is showcased is perfect and sticks the bill and the make up artist needs a special mention too as they have ensured that Keerthy looks the exact replica of Savithri. Cinematography by Dani Sanchez-Lopez needs a special mention as he has showcased the entire portion of Savithri's life very beautifully. Especially, Samantha and Vijay Devarakonda's 80's set up is done perfectly.
Dialogues are well written and these expresses the entire mood of the scenes.
Music by Mickey J Meyer is soothing to the ears and fits in well with the film, especially the background score goes in par with the film. Editing is good.
Yes, applause to the director Nag Ashwin for making so much research about the actress's life and for showcasing Savithri's life as such without exaggerating anything for the sake of bringing in a commercial element to capture audiences attention. He has managed to show dark side of Savitri without any hesitation.
