Dhanush’s film Vaathi hit the screens last Friday and is receiving a good response from the fans. The film was released as Vathi in Tamil and Sir in Telugu. Directed by Venky Atluri, this film also stars Samyuktha, Samuthirakani, P. Sai Kumar, Tanikella Bharani, Aadukalam Naren, Ken Karunas among others.
Both Tamil and Telugu versions are getting good response in theaters and are also collecting well at the box office from the first day. Currently, the producer has announced that Vaathi has collected 51 crore rupees in three days.

They have also mentioned that this is the best-ever opening for Dhanush. Produced by Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas, this movie had music by GV Prakash Kumar and they are already a chartbuster.
