Karnan is one of the much-anticipated movies in the Kollywood industry. Dhanush as the main male lead, the movie has a very strong content about our historical traces which mainly focusses on caste discrimination. The movie is helmed by Mari Selvaraj and produced by Kalaipuli S Thanu. The movie features Rajisha Vijayan, Lal, Yogi Babu and Gouri Kishan. As per the plan, the movie will hit the screens by tomorrow (9th April).

Now as per the government’s new covid restrictions, theatres in Tamil Nadu will operate with 50 per cent occupancy from 10th April. This news might have been a big shock to the fans as well to the team. But the producer of the movie Kalaipuli S Thanu has confirmed that Dhanush’s Karnan will be releasing in theatres across the country without any changes in the plan. He also added that he will comply with the latest lockdown rules imposed by the Tamil Nadu government.

For the past few days, more speculations have been running regarding the release of the movie, as the Covid restrictions are becoming stronger as well the cases are also increasing gradually each day. Since many believed that government will come again with a full lockdown, the release date might get postponed or will enter for an OTT release. Now the producer made the point clear that the movie will enter for the theatre’s screen.

He also assured that they will adhere to all the rules and regulations laid down by the government. Kalaipuli S Thanu wrote on his Twitter handle that, “As promised #Karnan will arrive in theatres tomorrow. As per the need guidelines of our govt #, Karnan will be screened with 50% capacity in theatres along with proper safety measures. I kindly request everyone to provide your support for #karna @dhanushkraja @mari_selvaraj.”

Another exciting note added up to the news is that, ahead of the theatrical release the full album which is been composed by Santhosh Narayanan will be released today by sharp 06.02 PM. The producer wrote,” Get ready to witness the full album of #Karnan today at 6.02 PM.” Stay tuned for more breaking updates.
