Ajith is currently working on his 61st movie under the direction of H. Vinoth. There have been many speculations regarding the cast list of the movie as the clear official list is not yet out now. Recently it was reported that Manju Warrier will be co-starring with Ajith in this movie and it was confirmed by herself at an event. The tentatively titled AK 61 is cinematographed by Nirav Shah.
This movie is touted to be an action-adventure which will have a storyline of a bank heist. As well Ajith will be playing the role of a young professor. The sets in Ramoji Film City is symbolising the Chennai Mount Road and a bank. The other official updates regarding the movie will be updated shortly.
Now the latest update is that Actor Veera will be joining the cast list in the movie. Actor Veera entered the industry by working with Director Gautham Vasudev Menon as an assistant in Vaaranam Aayiram movie. He has also acted in Nadunisi Naaigal and ‘Rajathandhiram’ in 2015.
