A Tall and Handsome man with a throaty voice gained a massive fan base for his skill. The industry mourns the demise of him. Another huge loss for the people in the year 2020. Scottish movie legend Sean Connery, who shot to international stardom as the suave and sophisticated British aged James Bond and went to dominate the silver screen for four decades, has died aged 90. His success in this world is uncountable.

 

He was knighted in 2000, won numerous awards during his decades-spanning career, including an Oscar, three Golden Globes, and two Bafta awards. Now, this legend is no more. The makers of James Bond Films confirmed the news of Connery’s demise. They posted on Twitter,” Sir Sean Connery has died at the age of 90. He was the first actor to play James Bond on the big screen in Dr.No in 1962, from Russia With Love, Goldfinger, Thunderball, You Only Live Twice and Diamonds Are Forever followed.”

His movie producers Michael G Wilson and Barbara Broccoli also mourned the demise of Sean Connery. Of them that post read that, ” We are devastated by the news of the passing of Sir Sean Connery. He was and shall always be remembered as the original James Bond whose indelible entrance into cinema history began when he announced those unforgettable words – ” The name’s Bond…James Bond”- he revolutionized the world with his gritty and witty portrayal of the sexy and charismatic secret agent. He is undoubtedly largely responsible for the success of the film series and we shall be forever grateful to him.”

 

The great actor faced a lot of struggles in his life to reach the pathway of success. At the bed of poverty, he started his life near the slums of Edinburgh and worked as a coffin polisher, milkman and lifeguard before his bodybuilding hobby helped launch an acting career that made him one of the world’s biggest stars. His first memorable character is as British agent 007, the character created by novelist Ian Fleming and immortalized by Connery in Films starting with Dr.No in 1962.

 

Later by the following success in each step in his life he reached a desired place and created a versatile identity for him. He would introduce himself in the movies with the signature line, “Bond-James Bond.” At the age of 59, he was awarded as the “sexiest man alive” in 1989.
