After Beast, Thalapathy Vijay’s ‘Varisu’ was released on 11th January and it is receiving a good response from the audience. Produced jointly by Dil Raju and Sirish under Sri Venkateswara Creations and PVP Cinema, the film is directed by Vamshi Paidipally.

Rashmika Mandanna played the female lead opposite Vijay in this film. Actors including Sarath Kumar, Prakash Raj, Prabhu, Jayasudha, Srikanth, Shaam, Yogi Babu, Sangeeta, and Samyukta played pivotal roles in this film. This is a bilingual film that was made in Tamil & Telugu, the Tamil version was released on 11th January whereas the Telugu version was released on the 14th of January.

Lokesh Kanagaraj is directing Vijay’s next 67th film after Varisu. An official announcement regarding this film is expected to be made soon. According to reports, actors Sanjay Dutt, Mysskin, actress Trisha and Gautham Menon will be part of this film while Cinematographer Manoj Paramahamsa will be handling the cinematography for this film.

According to reports, the film will be shot at Kodaikanal hills in Dindigul district. In the meantime, when actor Fahadh Faasil attended a press conference, he was asked if he would be part of Thalapathy 67 to which he responded, “Thalapati 67 will be made as an LCU and I might be a part of it”. This has created a huge expectation among the fans and they are now waiting for the official announcement which is expected to be made any time soon.
