‘Jayam Ravi’s Bhoomi is not preachy’

Having started his journey with Jayam, he has completed 24 films and managed to establish a place for himself in Tamil cinema. Jayam Ravi, whose last venture Comali managed a good show at the box office, is eagerly waiting for his 25th film. To make it special, he has spoken about the problems faced by farmers in the country.

It is directed by Lakshman, who directed Jayam Ravi in Romeo Juliet and Bogan. The movie will mark the Kollywood debut of Nidhi Agarwal. Cinematography is by Dudley. Ashutosh Rana plays the baddie. The teaser of the movie was out yesterday.

Speaking to News Today, Lakshman, says, ‘The movie revolves around Jayam Ravi, a scientist in NASA. He returns to his village to take up the cause of farmers’. ‘Unlike other movies that speaks about the problems being faced by agriculturists, Bhoomi comes up with a solution for all issues. However, it will not be preachy and the message is conveyed in an entertaining way.’

Bhoomi will hit the screens on 1 May. Stay tuned for more interesting updates.
