This film has already created huge hype among the audience ever since the film went on floors. After the films trailer and music release, it has reached skyhigh, and today 22nd July will see Kabali roaring the screens all around. To know whether the film has offered something new and hold on to the audiences expectation read our review below.
Quick Glance
What’s great?
1. The mass intro scene of Rajinikanth (increases the curiousity level among the audience).
2. Radhika Apte as Rajini’s wife is a perfect choice.
3. Santhosh Narayanan’s music
4. Clean and slick editing by Praveen
5. Cinematography top-class
What’s not?
1. Slow paced.
2. Screenplay could have been better
3. Antagonists could have been more powerful.
The Cast
The entire cast of this film has given their. Asusual Rajinikanth has given a mass and powerful performance. He has some sentimental scenes and he has blown it out with his outstanding performance. But there are times when one could feel that it doesn’t go in par especially when young Rajinikanth is shown. Radhika Apte as Rajinikanth’s wife has given a good performance, she is indeed the right choice for the film. The character that she played (Kumudavalli) has been delivered well. Dhanshika in her new stylish look has captured the attention of the audience. Dhinesh’s performance is good. Winston Chao as Tony Lee the main antagonist of this villain looks powerful and does a wonderful job. But one could feel that they could have used more ferocious and strong villain.  Individually everyone have given their best but on the whole the puzzle still misses something when it is put together.
The Team
Techinally this film is outstanding. G. Murali’s cinematography is top class. Music by Santhosh Narayanan is good and it is in place and the BGM is the highlight of this movie. Editor Praveen has given a clean and crisp editing which adds flavor to the whole movie. Screenplay required more attention and it was a bit dragging.
Bottom line –  Its totally a Rajinikanth movie that would definitely entertain the fans and the family audience
