Laxmmi Bomb is an upcoming Hindi movie directed by the talented Kollywood director Raghava Lawrence. The movie is the official remake of a Tamil remake movie titled Kanchana. The movie in the Hindi version stares Akshay Kumar and Kiara Advani in the lead roles and Ayesha Raza Mishra, Tusshar Kapoor, Sharad Kelkar, Tarun Arora, Ashwini Kalsekar, Manu Rishi, Babu Antony, Mir Sarwar, and Rajesh Sharma in the supporting roles.

The production process for the movie is completed and nearing its release. As per the official update, the movie will be releasing on November 9 on Disney+Hotstar and it will also have a theatrical release in selected theatres that have been opened across the world. Now the latest updates reveal that the title of the movie has changed to Laxmii. The makers of the movie have received a notice on behalf of the Shri Rajput Karni Sena Organization.

 

The notice mentioned that the title Laxmmi Bomb seems to be quite disrespectful to Goddess Lakshmi, adding that it hurts the sentiments of a certain section of people. The movie had its censor screening today and after watching the movie, it is said that the CBFC officials held discussions with the makers to change the title to make all the sections of the audience happy with the title as well as the movie.

 

Later the producers of the movie have also agreed to the point raised by them and took a step forward to change the title. Now the movie is officially titled Laxmii. The movie is produced by Cape Of Good Films and Fox Studios in association with Shabinaa Entertainment and Tushar Entertainment. It is expected that, as Akshay Kumar plays a transgender role in the movie his performance will be higher, and also there will be a strong emotional connection with the audience through this movie.
