Maapla Singam Movie Review – Simple and Entertaining
Here comes yet another rural based movie from the successful pair Vimal and Anjali. There is nothing new to talk about this film as it has the usual story-line with a predictable twists and turns. Soori’s timely comedy make this movie a one time watchable. Overall this is a decent comedy film which might receive great response from the rural audience.

The Cast
Vimal as usual has given a neat and perfect performance. His handlebar mustache and white dhoti were perfect for his character and Anjali as a criminal lawyer has given a wonderful performance. As usual their combination looks perfect. Though Soori’s one-liners keeps us engaged there are times where it din’t workout really well. Radha Ravi as an old fashioned uncle of Vimal has also given an excellent performance.
The Team
Directed by Rajasekhar this film is an usual comedy venture but the director could have made the narration strong instead of handling the subject very light. Cinematography was good and the music goes in sync with the movie.
