It is always a question mark whether a remake movie will set the record created by the original version and the same goes to this remake as well. To know whether this movie has reached the audience well and as on par with the original, read below.

The Cast

The entire cast of this film has done a wonderful job. The lead actor of this film Udhayanidhi Stalin has done his best, we could say one of the best in his career. His expressions are perfect and it speaks a lot.

Hansika as a simple Pollachi girl scores well in the emotional scenes and yes this time her lip syncs well with the dialogues. Radha Ravi as a Judge has given a wonderful performance and is top class. Prakash Raj could have done even more better.

The Team

Technically this film sounds good. Santhosh Narayanan’s Background score is the highlight and it elevates ones emotion but unfortunately the songs weren’t placed well.

Though Ahmed had made few changes to the original version to add the nativity to this film, he could have concentrated more on the screenplay. The first half was extremely good but the second half was predictable, and he could have made it stronger.

Cinematography is another highlight in this movie, Madhi has tried different angles and it makes us stick on to the film. It is Colorful altogether and gives grandeur to the film.

Bottom line – A watchable feel good movie.

Certified Fresh – YES!
