Ponniyin Selvan is the upcoming historical Tamil movie in the industry that is framed based on the epic Tamil novel titled Kalki. Directed by ace director Mani Ratnam. The movie is been shot in two parts. This movie marks the trademark of one of the costliest movies ever in Indian Cinema.
The flick has created a huge expectation among the audience as the cast list consists of a bunch of ever-favorite stars the audience. The movie features Vikram, Karthi, Jayam Ravi, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Trisha, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Prabhu, Jayaram, Nizhalgal Ravi, Vikram Prabhu, Ashwin Kakkamanu, Riyaz Khan, Sarathkumar, Parthiban, Prakash Raj and Balaji Shaktivel.
It has been officially confirmed that the movie will hit the screens on September 30, 2022. The technical crew includes A.R. Rahman as the music composer, Varman as a cinematographer, and Sreekhar Prasad as editor. Earlier it was updated that the teaser launch of the movie will happen on July 7 at the Thanjavur Brihadeeswarar Temple.
Now as per the latest reports the teaser launch has been postponed due to the incompletion of VFX works in the movie. Also, the launch will not take place at Brihadeeswarar temple. Meanwhile, the launch is likely to happen by the July end. Also, the first single of the movie might be unveiled before the teaser launch. The other official update will be revealed shortly.
