RIP-PAADUM NILA

Legendary Singer SP Balasubrahmanyam passed away on 25th September at 1.04 PM at the MGM Healthcare hospital in Chennai. He was tested COVID-19 positive on August 14 and underwent the treatment for more than 50 days. His son SPB Charan gave all the regular updates about his father’s condition and the whole south cinema industry has been praying for his health. Unfortunately, no medicines gave him a helping hand as the situation got worse and also he suffered a cardiorespiratory arrest.

 

His loss is an irreplaceable one. At the age of 74, he has sung more than 40,000 songs in over 50 years of journey. He has been honored in his life with 6 national awards, four Tamil Nadu State Film Awards, three Karnataka State Film Awards, and 2 SIIMA Awards also 15 Filmfare awards. He has also received many more awards which are countless in his life journey. He was born on 4th June 1946 in Nellore.

He started his career in singing in the year 1966 as a playback singer in a Telugu movie. His last song is presented in Rajini’s Annaatthe movie under the D.Imman music score. Many fans, celebrities, and reputed personalities from various sections have been offering their condolences and paying their tribute to the legendary singer. Later he also took an avatar of a dubbing artist and actor and has done more than 50 movies with the super leading actors.

 

The news of his death has come as a huge unexpected shock for countless fans worldwide. Now such a successful 74 years old Paadum Nila is no more on this Earth. Unbelievable news but has to believe. Many of his physical appearances may fade from this world but his voice will never fade. He will be living in our all hearts till each one of the people in the south cinema dies. His voice will be etched in our hearts forever. He will always be a living legend in all our hearts.
