The music is scored by SN Prasad. Rockfort Entertainment has acquired the theatrical distribution rights of the movie. The movie might hit the screens when the situation recovers to its better. Teenagers are celebrating the teaser and it has been a grand success. On the other hand, senior filmmaker Bharathiraja has condemned the teaser and the movie as it has a lot of adult content. Bharathiraja recently made a statement requesting the government to ban the movie. by supporting him Racer Alisha Abdullah has also raised his opposition to the ban. Following this criticism, the director of the upcoming movie has now released a statement apologizing for reacting harshly. He also promised that the upcoming posters of the movie would cater to all the sections of the audience.
Santhosh’s official statement stated, “I have directed and acted in Irandam Kuththu. Director Bharathiraja had issued a statement condemning the film’s poster and teaser, on the spur of the moment, I got carried away and posted a tweet on my page. Later I realized and felt that I should not have posted a tweet like that. I express my disappointment for posting that tweet. A lot of budding and young filmmakers in Tamil cinema are trying to create at least 1% of the impact that was created by Bharathiraja’s films. Bharathiraja is the guiding force and an inspiration for several directors here. He will continue to be as well. I shouldn’t have replied in such a way to his statement. Going forward, I assure and promise everyone that the upcoming posters from Irandam Kuththu will cater to all sections of the audience,”.
