Review:

Interest in the web series sequel grew even more after The Family Man Season 1, which had the highest rating on OTT. With that, the audience who had been waiting for the occasional opportunity got a chance to watch Season 2. Released on Amazon Prime Video on June 3rd. What is this web series with nine episodes like?

First Episode – Exile.
The Family Man Season 2’s first episode “Exile”, started with the arrest of Tamil terrorist Subbu. Srikanth Tiwari, who retired from the NSG, joins a corporate office (IT) firm, showing his impatience and concern for the country sitting from his desk at the beginning. The whole season is set to happen all around in Chennai and some parts of the UK. Raj and DK story, articles are getting the AC’s switch on for a perfect Binge. The series continues to travel with emotion which was a bit unseen in the 1st Season.

Second Episode – Weapon.
Samantha Akkineni’s entry comes in the second episode. Appeared in the role of a compromised victim of sexual discrimination. Rajalakshmi (Samantha) portrayed as a coolie working for the company. The dialogues from Raji (Samantha) is completely vowed to the Srilankan Tamils. Srikanth Tiwari’s daughter plays an important role in this season. Her notorious activity makes the audience get prepared for an intense climax. Subbu’s brother Bhaskaran, who had retired from the Tamil struggle, gets to war action by calling Raji to get ready, Which makes the episode sensible. How Raj & DK dealt with the story has been raising good expectations for episode after episode.

Third Episode – Angel of Death.
Slight slower at the start but the twists at the end was worth it. The conversations between Srikanth Tiwari and his wife Suchitra (Priyamani) carrying their emotions are a vital part of season 2. How the sexual relations between the spouses were discussed went on clean. Srikanth quitting his new 9-5 job makes the audience convincing to sit back for a fun binge. Also, it is impressive to increase the character range from episode to episode. The screenplay followed by Raj and DK, which enhances Samantha’s character graph in each episode, is said to have created a sensation on this web series.

Fourth Episode – Eagle.
Samantha (Rajyalakshmi)’s situation becomes difficult after Nanda’s murder. The police chase begins when Nanda is blunted for trying to sexually assault her. Attempts to escape from there on began. Many Portrayal scenes of Tamil Nadu were a little different. Showing it as a no easy fetch for water in the state and the area portrayed Adhambakkam was not meant to be that draughty of a geographical area.

5th Episode‌ – Homecoming.
The directors also made it interesting that Samantha escaped from Chennai and went to Sri Lanka. Also, the way Srikanth Tiwari’s team led the story in terms of investigation seems to have slowed down a bit. Feels a bit bored after the first three powerful episodes. But for Samantha, the scenes seem to have taken the episode to another level again.

6th Episode – Martyrs.
The action episode. Samantha escapes the clutches of the police. Another highlight was the subsequent attack on the police station after Samantha was caught by the police. It feels like these two will make the web series number one. Terrorist groups have made the scenes of trapping his daughter even more emotional to detain Srikanth Tiwari. This episode registers how stubborn the rebels are and proving to police no way they will stop their war.

7th Episode – Collateral Damage.
When it comes to the Family Man 2 web series, while Srikanth Tiwari is trying for Samantha (compromise) on the one hand, the terrorist group planned to kidnap his daughter, which turned the story intense. A high Range of Emotions was cultivated. The way the story was directed mirrored the talent of the directors once again. The gestures made by Manoj Bajpayee after learning that his daughter had been kidnapped were amazing. The directors took due care to make his daughter’s kidnapping investigation more interesting.

8th Episode – Vedetta.
The kidnapping of Srikanth Tiwari’s daughter was a shock to all. With plans of Sajid failing a little, he gets to see sooner. Of further interest is the manner in which NIA officer JK, on the other hand, led the story with another officer to trace Raji and her team. The action episode that frees the kidnapped Tiwari daughter is very gripping. The search for the missing daughter begins, as well as the search for Samantha. This episode goes on very emotionally. A well-planned script made it convincingly good.

9th Episode – The Final Act.
The compromise team is planning to target the meeting of the Prime Minister of India and the President of Sri Lanka in Chennai. What happened to Srikanth Tiwari’s operation after that. Is the compromise surrendered? Is all about “The Family Man 2”. A‌ Hint for the next season is released too at the end.

The portrayal of Tamil locality scenes are not that great, they might have stuck on to one language instead, trying something new out, which made the Tamil language get down from Hindi’s respect. And couldn’t understand why they chose Hindi as the full main language for the season. It was great in English in the last season. Saini S Johray’s Production design is outstanding. Cameron Eric Bryson’s cinematography is terrific and has some great shots in the action sequences. Aejaz Gulab and Yannick Ben’s action sequences can be watched without hesitations. Ketan Sodha’s background score is Seemingly good. (Streaming now on Amazon Prime Video)
