After 9 years, Vijay and Ajith’s films were released on the same day. While these two films which were released on the 11th are getting good responses among the people, there is fierce competition as to whose film has collected more at the box office.
Although Varisu has grossed more than Thunivu worldwide, Thunivu is leading the way in Tamil Nadu. Its been 9 days since the two movies were released in theaters, so far in Tamil Nadu Thunivu has collected Rs. 98 crores and Varisu has collected Rs. 97 crores.
Looking at the collection, Thunivu has retained the top spot in Tamil Nadu while with the worldwide collection, Varisu is leading the show.
