Yes, the minute you listen to it you would know that this is s thara-local kuthu song with Anirudh’s touch. The song is terrific, fresh and would be an instant hit among the youngsters.

Singers: Anirudh Ravichander, Jonita Gandhi

Lyrics: Viveka
Sung by Jonita Gandhi and Anirudh, this song gets strongly into our ears. The lyrics speak a lot and Jonita Gandhi’s soft touch to this song has taken this song to another level. Enjoyable and hummable at the same time.

Vaa Velaikkara

Singers: Shakthishree Gopalan, Bjorn Surrao

Lyrics: Vivek
Vaa Velaikkara is fantastical offbeat song with Shakthishree’s voice blended with Anirudh’s voice gives a strong impact. Anirudh has tried something different in this song and we could guess that this song would be used in a crucial part of this film.

Singers: Anirudh Ravichander, Neeti Mohan

Lyrics: Madhan Karky
This is a pleasant song and the lyrics is good and conveys the maturity of the love factor between Nayanthara and Sivakarthikeyan. This song starts as a normal melody but goes on to impress us. The strings have been used well, especially the little rhythmic play on the piano is impressive.
Ezhu Velaikkara

Singers: Siddharth Mahadevan & Chorus

Lyrics: Viveka
A forceful song and is a typical motivational song for the Velaikkaran. This song seems to carry the crux of the film Velaikkaran. The violin and drums together give an extra force to the song. Though it looks usual, the visuals are expected to give the needed impact on its genre.

Verdict: Anirudh has ensured that he has delivered something different in every song and he has succeeded in doing so. More than the love factor we could sense more importance is given to ‘Veilaikkara’.
