A sticker from Greater Chennai Corporation pasted in front of an actor and Makkal Needhi Maiam chief Kamal Haasan’s office in Alwarpet today stating that he has been quarantined till 10 March sparked tension this morning. However, the poster was removed within some minutes.
Murali Abbas, spokesperson, MNM, said, “We were shocked to know that such a poster was stuck. Kamal has no travel history. He had been shooting for Indian 2 and after mishaps, he visited those injured. He even appeared before police for enquiry.” Heeven recalled that Kamal even said that he is ready to convert his office as corona special hospital recently. When asked, Corporation Commissioner Prakash said it was a clerical mistake. ‘Don’t blow it out of proportion,’ he added.
Sources say Gauthami had returned from Dubai and her passport had Kamal’s address and hence posters were struck.
