The Cast

The entire cast of this film has done a good job. Vijay Sethupathi is the man everyone would be looking for in this movie and as usual he has given his best. Sayyeshaa looks lovey and gets a meaty role to perform. Yet again she proves that she is one of the best dancers in the recent times with her energetic moves. Madonna Sebastian portions doesn’t give a significant impact in this movie’s development. Yogi Babu’s one-liners works at places and it serves the dull moment in the movie. Don Amma played by Saranya Ponvannan does a neat job. She gets something different to perform this time than the usual mother character. She is cool and so does Don Paati . She steals the show in the second half of the film and hope to see her more in films in the future.

The Team

Technically this film is good. The director attempted to make yet another dark comedy but one would be feel that he isn’t 100% successful in doing so. The film works in parts if the logical loops are ignored. Siddharth Vipin’s songs serves its purpose but it could have been even more better especially the background score. Editing by Sabu is neat and clean. Cinematography by Dudley needs a special mention as he has done a commendable work in this film.

Bottom line – Watch it for Vijay Sethupathi’s performance.

Certified Fresh – YES!
